Storm damage reinsatement works completed and 12 flats handed-over in Helensburgh.
Storms in early January 2012 blew the roof coverings from and caused damage to the roof structure over 12 flats, which also suffered from severe water damage. Total Reinstatement Services were successful in the tender process for both Phase 1 and Phase 2 works.
Phase 1 comprised the installation of a complete new roof structure and coverings, strip-out and drying of the 12 flats and 2 common stairwells below. A Hydronic drying process was adopted ensuring the flats were dried in the shortest time, following which Phase 2, the internal reinstatement commenced.
One stairwell, with 6 flats was handed back in early October 2012, with the remaining stairwell and 6 flats handed back in early November 2012.
